The “play” music player app was designed to perform mainly one task well and that is playing music in the simplest, most intuitive way. Therefore the “play” music player has no “play” or “stop” button because very album, every song is already a play/stop button. Simply by clicking on a cover music starts and ends to play.
After analysing some existing players I noticed that for my use most of the current players offer too many functions and the designs can get a bit fragmented. With my design I wanted to explore a different kind of player with less buttons and more ease.
For the sake of lean UX I concentrated on the ordinary, main functions of a music player and added just a few social features.
Play and listen to various music
Discover new music
Save/store favorite music
Have a personal page

Create playlists and publish them
Search for favorite songs
In these screens you find the solutions I derived from the requirements I concluded from the user needs.
